Los Altos families value education, and many of the parents I work with here have a child who's bright but struggling to connect with math the way it's taught at school.
The Los Altos schools are excellent, but every child learns differently. Some need more time with a concept before moving on. Some need it explained a different way. Some just need a space where it's safe to be confused and work through it. That's what my sessions provide. I help K-6 students in Los Altos build genuine math understanding — the kind that transfers to new problems, not just the ones they've practiced. Both in-person and Zoom sessions are available.
